Help a Filipino VA finish her vocational certification by letting her work for you. 30 hours, fully unpaid. Zero obligation to hire.
“In order to complete my vocational training as a remote virtual assistant and get my certificate I have to complete a 30 hour unpaid internship for someone like you.”
No credit card. No contract. No commitment.
What employers are saying
I was skeptical at first — a free assistant sounded too good to be true. My intern had my calendar, inbox, and CRM cleaned up in the first week. Hired her on day 31.
How is this free??? She built out our entire prospect list and set up three outreach sequences before the 30 hours were up. Absolutely killing it.
One of the best business decisions I've made was starting with a free intern trial. She's been with us 8 months now. Communication is flawless, work ethic is unreal.
I've run a seven-figure agency using 100% overseas virtual assistants.
Every busy professional deserves the same leverage.
The problem isn't that VAs aren't good enough. It's that you've never had a zero-risk way to find out.
This program is that bridge. You get real help. They get their future. No obligation required.
A Note From Our CEO
My name is Andrew Jacoby. I'm the CEO of Good Shepherd Staffing. I started this company after scaling a seven-figure agency using 100% overseas virtual assistants at my first company, Growthera.com.
I hired a CEO to run Growthera, and then started Good Shepherd to teach other busy professionals the same system — how to use remote virtual assistants and automation to remove yourself from the busywork you hate, so you can focus on the work that actually moves things forward.
We partner with vocational schools in the Philippines where hundreds of aspiring VAs are training to serve executives like you — and need just 30 unpaid hours to earn their certificate.
This program is that bridge. You get real help. They get their future. No obligation required.

How It Works
Fill out the short form so we can match you with a trained intern and make the introduction.
Assign any remote admin work — calendar, emails, research, social media, and more. She's ready.
After 30 hours, if you love her work, hire her. If not — no hard feelings, you helped her graduate.
What Your Intern Can Do
Not sure where to start? Here are common tasks our interns handle immediately:
Don't see your task? Our interns are quick learners — if it can be done remotely, they can likely do it.
Our Promise to You
The internship is genuinely unpaid and genuinely optional. You're helping a student graduate — nothing more, unless you choose otherwise.
If you do hire, we offer weekly payment plans. Cancel anytime. We don't believe in locking clients in.
Time tracking, overseas contractor agreements, replacements if needed — we take care of it all so you don't have to.
Our interns are from the Philippines, where English is taught from childhood. Communication is easy and natural.
If You Decide to Continue
If your intern impresses you and you'd like to keep working together, we make it easy. Just let us know — your client success manager will send you a payment link for however many hours per week you need.
We offer weekly payment plans, no minimums, and you can scale hours up or down week to week. Our goal is to always have you matched with an assistant you love — if things aren't working, we'll replace them at no extra cost.
100% of any raises or bonuses you give go directly to your assistant (minus bank fees). Our fees stay fixed.
Click below, tell us how to reach you, and we'll make the introduction. She's ready to get to work.

Common Questions
Not at all. The intern will be working hard to impress you — their goal is to get hired — but you have zero obligation. You are simply helping them complete the final step of their vocational training.
Just tell your client success manager and they'll send you a payment link for the number of hours per week you'd like to hire your intern for.
No. We like to give our assistants a stable understanding of how many hours they need to hold each week for you. If you need fewer hours, you can adjust for the upcoming week.
No. Our goal is to make sure you have an assistant you're genuinely happy with. If we fail at that, we don't want you staying with us because of a contract.
We recommend starting slow with sensitive documents and building trust over time — the same way you'd approach any new professional relationship.
Your intern will have an internet connection, a computer, and access to standard free online tools. Any paid tools or phone service would need to be provided by you.
Our interns are based in Asia. Some work fully during US hours, some overlap partially, and some work outside US hours. You'll clarify this directly with your intern.
Good Shepherd Staffing is a freelance platform. You are paying an independent contractor through our platform. They handle their own tax obligations.
Your client success manager checks in weekly. If something isn't fixable, we'll replace your assistant with a new one — no questions asked.
Yes! We offer $0.50 per hour for the lifetime of any relationship you refer to us. Reach out to learn more.
We recommend starting with an entry-level VA first. Smart, hardworking generalists often learn specialized skills quickly and at better value.
